The North Tyneside Volunteer Network provides a friendly and supportive environment for staff and volunteers who are responsible for volunteer management in their organisation to network with other organisations who have similar responsibilities.

The Network meetings, which are facilitated by VODA, provide an opportunity to share good practice, exchange ideas and develop joint initiatives. Regular topics include changes in volunteer policy and legislation, funding possibilities and local training available to volunteers.

There is also an opportunity for organisations to provide an overview of their work or of specific projects that may be of interest to others.

Meetings take place every two months. The Network meetings run between 10am and 11.30am with a chance to network before the meeting.
