Windsor Court is a well established Care Home purposely built to meet the expectations of the citizens of Wallsend, Newcastle upon Tyne and surrounding areas of Tyne and Wear. There are 44 spacious bedrooms, many with en suite facilities. Although the bedrooms are furnished to a good standard, we do encourage Residents to bring in their own items to give a sense of familiarity. There are 3 beautifully furnished lounges that boast large flat screen TVs and a variety of chairs and sofas to accommodate Resident’s seating preference. Windsor Court has 3 dining rooms with facilities accessible to visitors and families for refreshments, A varied menu is provided and Residents are able to eat in their own rooms if preferred. Activity Co-ordinators are able to deliver a programme that is created for the enjoyment of the residents and trips to places of interest are arranged. Windsor Court has a secluded secure well used patio area and garden at the rear of the building where Residents enjoy potting plants or even the occasional sunshine. We have a visiting Optician, Dentist, Chiropodist and Hairdresser.
