Group Meeting is held at the Oxford Centre, West Farm Avenue, Longbenton, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE12 8LT 12.30 - 2.30pm, on the 3rd Monday of every month (except January).
There is an update from the chairperson on upcoming events and sometimes a speaker. There are refreshments available, a raffle and a library of books about living with and managing fibromyalgia.
Sometimes we have games such as 'Name the Cuddly Toy' and we have a party at Christmas.
Our members vary - some have been newly diagnosed and others for many, many years. So there is a wealth of advice and experience that can be drawn on.
