We are a voluntary organisation established in 1994, based in Wallsend and working across the borough of North Tyneside.

We are jointly funded by North Tyneside Council and NHS North Tyneside Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) to consult with North Tyneside residents, carers, relatives and the community and voluntary sector on the planning and delivery of health and social care services.

What we do

  • Consult with established groups and organise focus groups on a range of health and social care topics.

  • Organise public meetings for North Tyneside Council and NHS North Tyneside CCG for their budget proposals and commissioning intentions.

  • Support the development of Patient Forum Engagement across the 29 GP Practices in North Tyneside.

We are committed to the Principles and Practice of Service Users and Carer Involvement in the planning and delivery of Health and Social Care Services for everyone in North Tyneside.

This includes issues around:

  • Children and Young People

  • Learning Disabilities

  • Physical/Sensory Disability

  • Drug Alcohol Substance Misuse

  • Mental Health

  • HIV/AIDS

  • Older People

  • Black & Minority Ethnic Groups

  • Carers
