Established in 2006, the Blue Door Project is a social care organisation supporting adults with learning disabilities, based in Wallsend. We aim to make the lives of people with learning disabilities and their families better.
We provide a fun, educational and stimulating timetable of daily activities including:
Computer Skills
Home Baking
Art and Craft
Community Outings
Music
Drama
Sports Activities
Games and Quizzes
Additionally, we engage closely with our local community for special events, training and workshops.
We provide a complimentary transport service which provides door-to-door transportation, with Service Users attending from North Tyneside, Newcastle and Northumberland.
We are open Monday to Friday every week, closing only on bank holidays and at Christmas.
