Workie Ticket Theatre CIC is North Tyneside- based and female-led; producing work across the Northeast which reflects current social issues. Specialising in supporting mental health, delivering workshops and producing collaborative community theatre. We aim to amplify unheard voices and use drama as a tool to engage the socially isolated whilst exploring issues that affect their lives such as domestic abuse and sexual violence. We deliver workshops in areas that have high social deprivation to give voices and empower participants to tell their stories. We have worked with female veterans, military partners, women who have experienced domestic violence and women who live in rural areas. A commitment to creating a real positive social impact through theatre is at the very heart of what we do.
