Let me tell you about an exciting, FREE new service we offer for anyone who is over 18 years old, unemployed and eligible to work in the UK. The service is called ‘Making a Difference’ and that is exactly what we aim to do! We offer a high quality, voluntary service to provide that little bit of extra support (typically over a four-month period), via a ‘tailored to you’ programme of actions and goals to help you get back into work. We also have our very own Basic Skills Tutor, so if you want to improve your English and Maths – we are here for you!
We have access to weekly job vacancy bulletins and work closely with our Local Market Information Team to advise you what jobs are available in your area and what skills you need to be successful. We aim to increase your confidence, help you be more effective in your job search, applications and interviews and start your new job!
