Beverley Park Lawn Tennis Club was founded on 20th February 1920 and is a friendly members club located in Whitley Bay.
The club has 4 all weather courts and a clubhouse which has a kitchen and changing facilities which includes toilets and a shower area. The club also has disabled access with a disabled toilet on site.
In 2021, Beverley Park Lawn Tennis Club celebrated winning Tennis Club of the Year at the LTA Northumberland Awards.
Beverley Park Lawn Tennis Club is now part of the new LTA Rally campaign. This allows players to play on a pay as you play basis throughout the week at the club. To find out times when courts are available for pay as you play click here.
We offer a wide range of social and competitive Tennis for players of all abilities and we have an extensive coaching programme which is for juniors and adults.
The junior coaching programme is for children aged 2-18 years old. Beverley Park LTC runs a very successful LTA Youth programme which includes LTA Youth Start, Tots Tennis, LTA Youth Red, LTA Youth Orange, LTA Youth Green and Teenager Tennis. The club also runs Holiday Tennis camps and is available for children Birthday parties.
There is also a variety of sessions in the adult coaching programme from Absolute Beginners to Cardio Tennis. The club also delivers Walking Tennis, Tennis Xpress and Match Practice & Tactics coaching sessions for players who want to get involved with the club's teams and take their game to the next level.
The club has mens, ladies, mixed, veterans and junior teams in the Northumberland & Durham Summer and Winter leagues and LTA National Leagues.
The club hosts annual open days, events and fun social tournaments for everyone to get involved with.
Beverley Park Lawn Tennis Club also has an excellent School Tennis Programme and has several links with Schools in North Tyneside. The club also offers a disability programme for schools and community groups which is part of the LTA initiative, Open Court programme.
Beverley Park LTC is a registered LTA Tennis venue which brings plenty of benefits to the club and for members.
