Be Part of the World’s Largest Garden Wildlife Survey
What is Big Garden Birdwatch?
The Big Garden Birdwatch 2025 invites nature lovers across the UK to spend an hour observing and recording the birds that visit their gardens, parks, or local green spaces. Organised by the RSPB, this citizen science initiative has become the world’s largest garden wildlife survey, helping to monitor bird populations and trends over time. Whether you’re a seasoned birdwatcher or a curious beginner, this event is a wonderful way to connect with nature while contributing to vital conservation efforts.
Why Join the Birdwatch?
Your observations provide valuable data for understanding how garden birds are faring across the UK. The information collected helps the RSPB identify which species are thriving and which may need extra support. It’s also a great way to relax, enjoy the outdoors, and discover the wildlife around you.
